At Bayleaf Catering & Edible Solutions, we pride our selves on innovative cuisine with a team of chefs who are in touch with all the latest food trends (not forgetting all the old favorites).

The menus suggested below are merely a starting point as we tailor our menus to suit the bride & groom, (and both of the families), the venue, the season (to take advantage of Sydney's amazing seasonal produce) and of course, budget.

A Plated Affair

Entrée

Prawn and avocado timbale with blood orange dressing & petite herb salad

Seared beef carpaccio with shaved parmesan, baby capers, fig & apple balsamic

Semidried tomato & crème fraiche tart with sumac crusted zucchini flowers & citrus dressing

Main Course

Roasted ocean trout fillet, smashed chats potatoes, green pea, lime and mint salsa with lemon oil

Corn fed chicken breast with sweet potato puree, wilted baby spinach, roasted baby Roma's and jus

Roast pumpkin & black olive cannelloni with sautéed wild mushrooms and shaved pecorino & truffle oil

Desserts

Ginger and honey panna-cotta, maple roasted pineapple and almond biscotti

Chocolate tasting plate

Chocolate & raspberry crème in a shot glass lindt 70% choc tart with milk chocolate mascarpone Dark chocolate & dried cranberry brownie with white chocolate sauce 

Spiced pear tart tartin with coconut ice-cream and caramelized pecans

To Finish

Freshly pressed Segafredo coffee & leaf teas including herbals served with petite fours

Selection of grain breads and unsalted Danish butter

Pan fried salmon fillet with crushed baby bok choy and teriyaki glaze
Lemon & thyme roasted corn fed chicken with white beans and chorizo  
Lamb rump (served medium) with baby eggplant, confit tomatoes & sumac dressing

Salads

Cherry tomato and bocconcini salad with basil leaves & toasted pinenuts
Roquette and whitlof salad with walnuts & apple balsamic 
Baby roast chat potato salad, chives & seeded German mustard dressing

Later

Platter of Australian cheeses with muscatels, lavosh crackers and grissini sticks
Fresh platter of tropical fruits and berries with ginger syrup
Chocolate torte with macerated strawberries & king island double cream

To Finish
